AMSTERDAM - Paul Abeling, 66, of Route 107, died Thursday at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a short illness.
Born in Amsterdam, Mr. Abeling was educated in Hadley Luzerne schools while residing in the Town of Day. He moved to Amsterdam in 1957.
Mr. Abeling was a truck driver for 31 years for the former Boss-Linco. He retired in 1991 from Tacy's Express.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Mr. Abeling was a member of Local 294 Truckers Union of Albany.
