1921 Kringsbush School, located in rural St. Johnsville, New York

Second row (l-r): Joe Lyons, Myron, Kenneth Failing, Tony Malinoski, Eva Moskey, Carrie Gray,
Jessie Moyer, Gladys Lyons and Dora Battisti.
Third row (l-r): Tony Vito, Marian Smith, Roosevelt Smith, Frances Malinoski, Tony Korniat,
Frances Lamphere, Mr. Charles Seaman (instructor), Clarence Gray, Herbert Moyer, Dorothy
Marcellus, Delilah Gray and Addie Tompson.
Absent that day were: Rose Tompson, David Failing and Floyd Battisti.
The Kringsbush school was located on the southern border of the Town of Oppenheim, very close to St. Johnsville.
The school burned during the summer of 1965, but it had been used until 1948.
The last teacher in this school was Miss Mary Leahy.
