This is some information on Andrew Malinowski: He had a brother, Bartek, and a sister but her name is unknown. They were born in Cgylatyce (spelling?), Poland. Andrew at age 22 married Mary Piniaha age 20 in 1907. He served 3 yrs in the Austrian army in Yaroslaw, Dopkowice. He was discharged from the army but was ordered not to leave the country because war was very much talked about. We left on April 15, 1913 and arrived in St Johnsville May 20.

This is the address from there:

Notes from Brian Abeling: This note has been attached to both the Malinoski and Piniaha families - as the departure and arrival dates to America are significant to both families since the Piniaha and Malinoski families came to the US together on the same ship to the US in 1913.
Piniaha Birth Certificate from Yaroslaw, Poland
Piniaha Birth Certificate from Yaroslaw, Poland
We believe that in 1949, Veronica Piniaha Edwards wrote to Yaroslaw, Poland to request her birth certificate, which was needed for the US Naturalization process.

It appears that they returned two documents, one which appears to be her birth certificate, and this one, which does not appear to be her's. However, it does appear to information on perhaps another Piniaha child...

It appears to indicate: Valeria Piniaha, born April 10, 1906. Parents appear to be Tomasz (Thomas) Piniaha and Katherine Yedryka (which are Veronica's parents).

    What we know:

    * This is not Veronica's birth certificate
    * It is not a birth certicate of any of her known siblings, as George is the next youngest and has been idnetified as being born in 1904.

Perhaps, Thomas and Katherine Piniaha had another child, Valerie or Valeria, born in 1906 - and perhaps she died at a young age, perhaps before the family immigrated to the US in 1913?

Birth Certificate information for Mary Piniaha Malinoski
Birth Certificate information for Mary Piniaha Malinoski
    It is a
certificate that was issued to fill a request for information
hence the 1949 date, based on original information on record in
Poland. This was in my Mother’s (Anna) documents, presumably for
her mother, whom was a Pieniaha, most likely the Mary (Translation
/short for Maria) that gets confused on the Abeling website? I
cannot recall her Mother’s first name, will ask next time I visit
her. The certificate is almost identical to the one you have
posted, I can only assume that Aunt Veronica gave this to my
mother (Anna) after it was received with the others.

Here is where it gets interesting- I had a Polish co-worker
translate the document. He has reciently moved from Poland, so I
trust his translation and the area is close to where he is from.
He told me it was not the original document, but certified from
existing documents, which you already knew. He provided the
attached translation and took time to explain that in Polish there
is the base name of a person or place, and variants of it based on
the context that it is used. Such as: “I was with Mary, I stayed
at Mary’s house…” in Polish those variants of Mary would have
different spellings dependant on useage. Migrate to the US &
throw that all into a blender…

So as it was explained to me
the “Born in” town of Dobkowicach has a base name of Dobkowice
(Name Googles up a small town near the Ukraine border.)
the Nearby town of Lowcach would be found on map as Lowce
(note that this makes sense as birth & baptism towns are
geographically near each other as found on map with base names.)

Tomasza Pieniahy has a base name of Tomasz Pieniaha

And Katarzyny Jedryka has the base name of Katarzyna Jedryka- but
note that some of those letters I have used the English letter
for, not the Polish such as the “e”.

The Priest’s last name is unclear the first letter we can guess as
    “M”.
