| Hammonds and Wheadons Starting on the left.. Viola Stafford Hammond who married Rex Hammond, then Ruth Wheadon to the right.
In the back, starting on the left: Rex Hammond (Vi's husband), Earl Wheadon (Ruth's father), Don Hammond (son of Vi and Rex), Arthur Wheadon (son of Mabel and Earl). A total guess on my part - but perhaps taken from 1933 to 1935. |

| Aunt Vi No writing on the back, however, my mother (Gretchen Smith Abeling) and my aunt, Jeanne Smith Slaper, suggested the following...
From the left to right:
1. Vi Stafford Hammond
2. Hazel Bryant (later marries Austin Smith)
3. Donald (I assume Hammond?)
4. Harry Bryant
5. Blance Swartz (daughter of Edith Stafford and Ed Swartz)
Just a guess, but if Donald Hammond is in the photo, as well as Harry Bryant - then I would guess that the photo could be dated to around 1928 to 1930. |

Hi Brian:
I was surprised to hear from you, that was quite a few years ago I posted on the rootweb site.
It looks like it is the same family. My husbands cousin is Dorothy France Hammond, she married Rex Donald Hammond, his mother was Bertha Viola Stafford. We were looking for information on Aaron's family, his parents.I gave Dorothy your email, but her computer is down, she said she might go to library and use there computer. Anything I can help you with about the Hammonds let me know. She and her husband went to the town they thought Aaron lived and tried to find records and didn't find anything.
Jackie
