 | Possible John Greufe Will? This item was found on the Henry County, Missouri USGenweb. John Greufe was believed to be the only Greufe in Henry County at this time. And wouldn't it make sense that if enlisted in the Civil War - that he would have filed a will?

 | Federal Trench at Lone Jack, Missouri This photo shows the concrete block structure which is the marker for the trench were the Union soldiers were buried. The Federal trench runs on the right of that marker down to the bottom of the picture. This is only a portion of the trench. It's 80 ft in length.
NOTE the small flat headstone at ground level in front of the concrete pillar - it is the headstone of John Bernard Greufe.
Special thanks to Alinda Miller for providing the photo and text. |
