Cook, 23 yrs old, born abt 1827 in NY, Shoemaker (note: his age must be recorded incorrectly) wife, Phebe, 30 yrs old, born abt 1820 in Ohio (again, it appears that her age and birth location are incorrect) son, Lyman H, 12 yrs old, born 1838 in Ohio son, William H, 8 yrs old, born 1842 in Ohio daughter, Hannah, 6 yrs old, born in 1844 in NY daughter, Matilda, 2 yrs old, born in 1848 in Illinois. NOTES: This appears to be the right family since... * Lyman's age matches up with th 1838 from Ohio that was thought to be correct. * Lyman's parents are Cyrus B and Phebe. * Phebe's maiden name is Hayes - and it appears that her parents and siblings are also located on this same census page. However, the significant problem is the age of his parents - as Cyrus appears to be 23 years while his son is 12. My guess is that the parents ages are incorrect on this specific census.
