 | WWI Draft Card for Lester Abeling Status: Located; Unable to read the street address, although it appears to be "87 Sening? Street, Amsterdam, New York."
Although we are unable to read the street address, our assumption is that this card was filled out in 1917 or 1918, which is just after Robert William Abeling was born - and he was born on Academy Street, however, the text does not look like the word "Academy".
Lester's birthday is listed as August 16, 1895 in Canajoharie, NY.
His current occupation is a street car conductor for the GRR Company railroad in Amsterdam, NY
He is listed as married with a child and also as tall, slender build, brown eyes and brown hair. |
